Ruth 1:1: "In the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land. So a man from Bethlehem in Judah, together with his wife and two sons, went to live for a while in the country of Moab."

Matthew 14:1-12, it is mentioned that John was arrested by Herod Antipas and held in custody at Machaerus. Herodias, Herod's wife, had a grudge against John and plotted for his execution.

Day 2: Breakfast, Mount Nebo and Al Hidan Water Trail Adventure. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight

Deuteronomy 32:49 - "Go up to this mountain of the Abarim, Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, opposite Jericho, and view the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel as a possession."

Day 1: Departure from Dubai Airport and arrival at Amman Airport. After completing the formalities, you will head to Madaba city and check into your hotel. The day's activities will include a walking tour of Madaba, known for its rich historical and religious significance. Madaba is renowned for its ancient mosaics, including the famous 6th-century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land.

In the afternoon, you will embark on an exciting biking adventure from the town of Libb to the historic site of Machareus. The biking route will take you through scenic landscapes and picturesque trails, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region. As you approach Machareus, you will notice the imposing hilltop fortress, which holds great significance in biblical history.

Upon reaching Machareus, you will have the opportunity to hike to the top of the hill and explore the ruins of the fortress. This site is closely associated with the biblical figure of Herod the Great and is believed to be the place where John the Baptist was imprisoned and executed.

After the challenging hike and exploration, you will have some time to relax and refresh at the site, taking in the breathtaking views and reflecting on the historical and spiritual significance of the location. As the day comes to an end, you will return to your hotel in Madaba for a well-deserved rest.

In the evening, you will enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel, where you can share stories and experiences from the day's adventure. Overnight stay in Madaba, preparing for more exciting explorations in the days to come.

Following our visit to Mount Nebo, we prepare for an exciting adventure trip along the Al Hidan Water Trail. This unique trail combines hiking, swimming, and navigating through a beautiful water-filled gorge, offering a thrilling and refreshing experience in Jordan's natural landscapes.

Challenge in the Route:

The Al Hidan Water Trail presents a thrilling challenge as you make your way through a picturesque gorge with flowing water. You will navigate through narrow passages, wade through shallow pools, and encounter small waterfalls along the way. The challenge lies in maneuvering through the water-filled terrain while maintaining your balance and enjoying the immersive natural surroundings.

Following our visit to Tell Mar Elias, we continue our journey to the beautiful Ajlun Nature Reserve. As we explore this architectural marvel, you will have the opportunity to reflect on its rich history and the challenges it has withstood throughout the centuries.

The Ajloun Castle stands as a testament to the resilience and strategic importance of its location. Exploring Salt City Souq:

In Salt City, we visit the old souq, a bustling marketplace that offers a glimpse into the city's vibrant past. As you stroll through the narrow streets, you will be captivated by the sights, sounds, and scents of the bustling market. Dinner and Overnight:

After a fulfilling day of exploration, we gather for a delightful dinner at one of Salt's renowned restaurants or rooftop venues. You will have the opportunity to savor local specialties while enjoying the picturesque views of the city. As the evening comes to a close, we head back to Amman for a restful overnight stay, reflecting on the day's cultural encounters and historical insights.

Day 5: Amman City Tour and Departure

Amman Citadel: Our first stop is the Amman Citadel, a majestic hilltop fortress that has witnessed civilizations rise and fall throughout history. This ancient site holds biblical importance, as it is believed to be the site of Rabbah Ammon, mentioned in 2 Samuel 12:26-31.
